Opening Prayer
Loving Lord, God of Infinite Love, I come before you in gratitude.  Let me grow in my love for you.  Quiet my mind and inflame my heart to be able to respond to your love for me.  I offer these moments to you through Jesus Christ my Lord and in union with the Holy Spirit.  I come with Mary, Queen of Apostles and with St. Vincent Pallotti with an open mind and a grateful heart for the gift of being able to spend this time with you.

The Easter Season often fall some time in May when we give special attention to the Mother of Jesus who cared and loved.

St. Vincent tells about grace:

Questions for your reflection this week:
These are suggested questions for you to ask yourself.  Feel free to reflect on the one or ones to which you might feel drawn.
1.    What is your understanding of Jesus' words to St. John?  How can you help yourself to grow in recognizing Mary as your mother?
2.    Good mothers are a blessing and many people are grateful for a mother such as Mary.  How do you feel about your mother and what graces for her do you pray for?
3.   How do you express your own sense of being a mother like Mary (even if you are not one) to friends and acquaintances.
A Suggestion:
Each evening take time to reflect on your day.  Ask for the grace to see the place of Mary in your own spiritual journey.
