| Gospel:
"Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do
the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because
I am going to the Father. (John 14:12) "He said to them, "The
harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the
master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest."
(Luke 10:2)
St.
Vincent: "Those who in their position, trusting in divine
grace, use their abilities and cooperate as much as possible
for the spreading of faith, earn the name "Apostle."
Our
Constitutions: "By specific vocation, everyone of our communities
is apostolic, and every apostolate is communitarian; thus every
Sister, in whatever work she is engaged, is an apostle building
up the Mystical Body." (#65)
"Like
our founder, docile to the voice of the Holy Spirit, we make
the needs of the Church our own, and we try to respond in
perfect harmony with its directives, adapting ourselves to
the exigencies of time and place." (#64)

By virtue of our Baptism, all
Christians are called to share in the mission of Jesus;
all are called to proclaim the Good News. As professed religious
in an apostolic congregation, we live a life style that
is characterized by service to God's people. But as Pallottines,
our call to this service has an added dimension.
As a congregation we bear the
name "Catholic Apostolate." For us that means that we are
open to every form of Christian service. We seek to multiply
the works of mercy, both those that address bodily needs
and those that tend to the soul and spirit.
While we choose specific forms
of service based on practical considerations, we strive
above all, in every apostolic field, to encourage others
to recognize God's love for them and embrace their call
to apostolic service in service to the Kingdom.
