Vocation: the word comes from the Latin "vocare" meaning call.   In Church language we use the word vocation to mean the particular style of life to which a person feels God is calling them:   Marriage, Consecrated life of a Sister, Brother or Priest, Secular Priesthood, Single life, or that of the Deaconate.   We also hear careers referred to as vocations.   A professional or skilled position is a career to which you may also feel called.
