Dear Emille: Thanks for your comments on 1/28/11 at 7:16 pm. I never said that Mother Aurora and Mother Aurelia were blood sisters. Mother Aurelia and Sister Leonore (who became principal after Mother Aurelia left) were blood sisters. If I did say that it was an error.
It is wonderful that most Sisters wear their habits. However, ALL Sisters must wear them. A pin on a collar is certainly not a religious habit. Any lay person can wear a pin or a medal or a crucifix. A nun wears a habit to show who she is in addition to what she says and how she acts. I believe the Holy Father once stated that all members of Religious Communities be in Religious habits.
Thank you.

As the kids would say, "Totally awesome". The webpages draw you right in to the mission of the Pallottines. I enjoyed seeing pictures of the Sisters, especially those who taught me at HRA. All of you are in my prayers as we continue to spread the Gospel message.

I was saddened to hear of Sister Gertrude's passing away and will always keep her memory alive in my heart. Holy Rosary was a great part of my life...so many friendships that have lasted throughout the years...The spirit of the Academy and the Pallotine sisters will always live in my heart. Luv, Marlene

I attended Saint Patricks Semi Military Academy I belive between 1965 to 1969.The school was pretty much run by a wonderful nun by the name of Sister Victoria. At the time I was a very difficult child and needed alot of discipline which I received on a regular basis. About six years ago I returned to my old Military Academy and met with Sister Victoria. She proceeded to apologize for all the discipline she gave me all those years.I answered her by saying,Sister I'm here to thank you not vilify you. For if it wasn't for sister Victoria I probably wouldn't be here. For her discipline and guidance gave me the foundation I needed for my adult life. By teaching me Integrity,Character, Discipline,Morals and Values. For that I thank you sister.I belive that all the children you have taught through out the years hold a very special place in there hearts as I do. My God bless you as he blessed all of us with your love.
Your Student Bela Steven Lehoczky
