The Cross

St. Vincent had a great devotion to Jesus' passion and death. He meditated often on the scenes of the Passion reflecting on God's infinite love which led to the sending of the Son to restore humanity to the plan of creation, the fullness of our relationship with Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This led St. Vincent to appreciate the necessity of sacrifice in the lives of those who would join him in his Society of the Catholic Apostolate.
