The Dove

One of St. Vincent's most quoted passages of Scriptures is from St. Paul's letter to the Romans: "hope does not disappoint us because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us." (Rom 5:5) St. Vincent knew he could not love God as much as he wanted to, he could not love God at all except for the gift of the Holy Spirit, God's very own love present to us as pure gift. That love is at the heart of our Pallottine vocation.
